Program content and requirements

Use your economics knowledge to start setting the course for your individual career: expand your skills, attain your goals and join us – Beiersdorf AG and Tchibo GmbH – in making sure the transformation to digital is set for success. At the end of our programme, exciting managerial or project-management functions in strategic growth areas in one of the companies await you. What should you bring to the programme? A degree in marketing or sales plus some work experience, as well as an entrepreneurial, strategic mind-set.   • The content

    The ‘MY CROSS-COMPANY CAREER’ program takes 18 to 24 months, offering maximum flexibility. The precise start date is also flexible and depends on your preferences. In the beginning, you will gain an insight into both companies: retail concepts, brand management, production and logistics centers. Next, individually and together with us you will determine which direction you will take. Typically, you will be deployed at Tchibo and Beiersdorf by turns, for three or four months at a time. You will work on projects that challenge the status quo, develop new ideas that will drive the business forward and immerse yourself in areas with a marketing, sales and online focus. For example, stationary sales, cross-channel, e-commerce, innovation & strategy, supply chain management, or digital marketing. A development program that is as individual as you are!

  • Your profile

    • Two to five years’ experience (after graduation) in marketing or sales, e.g. at a start-up, or a consulting, commercial or FMCG company
    • An excellent university degree in an economic or business subject
    • Project management and problem-solving skills combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strategic mindset
    • Initial international experience
    • Strong affinity with the digital world
    • A desire for interdisciplinary project work
